Class Reflection

Professor Candia has really taught me a lot these past two semesters. She really taught me to become a better writer. Whenever I needed advice on what I was writing she always was there to help me. She was always honest, if she didn't like something she would give me tips on how I could improve my writing skills. At first I struggled with my thesis sentences in English 101, but throughout English 101 and 102 she really has helped me improve my writing skills, I still struggle with thesis sentences, but I listen to Professor Candia's advice when writing and it helps me develop my thesis when I write in other classes. Professor Candia really gave me great advice on how to become a better writer.

I was never into poetry. or short stories. But after taking this English class, I really enjoy them. And Professor Candia really taught me that their is so much meaning behind a story, and I really enjoyed reading them, and learning about the authors. I really liked all the stories we read this semester I can't really say anything bad about them. If some stories were a little difficult, she would go over them in class, and make sure everyone understands what was going on.  I really enjoyed having professor Candia, I hope in the future at Farmingdale I can have her again as my professor. Professor Candia helped improve my writing skills, and really think about stories, poems, that I read in class. And thanks for making my first semester of college great, and everything you taught me I will use in the future.
